  • Help with tune

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this or not.....

Some of you may know me from V6Z24 or JBO. I've got a 1994 Cavalier with a 2000 3400 in it, using a 1994 ECM. I completed the swap last fall, and then deployed to Iraq again in January. I got it to the point of running using a chip Superdave burned for me, but there were a couple weird issues. It would never seem to just stay idling until it was well warmed up, and even then, I would still need to give it some pedal to keep it going at red lights. I attempted datalogging, but my experience is pretty limited in OBD programming and tuning, and I didn't get anywhere (not sure if it was computer, or ALDL cable, or both, or what, but I kept having issues "connecting" to the ECM). So, it runs, but it's not running properly.

My question is- is there anyone out there who would be willing to help me out with some real time tuning? I just want to get the little kinks worked out, I'm not concerned with laying down huge HP right now. I live in the western MA area (like, NY border western), so whoever it is will most likely have to travel to me, and I can work out some sort of compensation. I am currently in Iraq, and I will be home on leave for a few weeks in the middle of August, and then I will be towing the car to KS, since I'm moving while I'm home. So, right now, I'm just seeing if anyone is willing.
