  • Help with obd1.5 to obd2 swap

Ok so here is the story,

I have a 95' beretta z26 that i put an 01' 3400 engine in, my engine harness was an obd1.5 because the beretta is a 95'.

Ok so i wanted to do an obd 2 swap to gain some power, which i should have never done because i am completely car wiring/ecu illiterate.

So over time i accumulated a 96' obd2 beretta engine harness, maf sensor, ecu, and dhp power tuner.
I did the wire fixes listed on the webpage below, so i would not have to change my interior harness

Ok so after taking the old 95' engine harness out and putting the new one in i realized that there are around 8 pigtails toward the front of my engine that dont plug into anything and the new harness has no oil pressure pigtail or even wire, and i had to swap the pigtails for the trans and others from my old to new harness.

So anyway i try to start the car today after putting in the new harness and ecu and it woulds like its misfiring really bad.

I basically need a step by step walkthrough of what to do now, and any reason why it wont start, i have the dhp tuner and im not sure if i have to change anything with it for the car to even start or not.

I did alot of restoration on the retta over the winter and this is the last thing i need to do to finish it, so any help would be greatly appriciated, thanx!

a 3400 engine should idle and drive relatively well on a small-port 3100 tune, so you're having issues elsewhere.
