I am working on a 94 Skylark VIN-M 3.1. I used EFILive v4 to retrieve DTC's and the only malfunction indicated is MALF CODE 87 EEPROM ERROR. The car has been immobile for over a month due to a no start condition that occurred following gasket replacement work which required disconnecting the battery and many EFI/IC components wiring. All sensors, EFI/IC components, & wiring have been thoroughly tested. Is it possible to use EFILive to command the ECM to reset the spark timing to the OEM program? If not is it possible to command the the ECM to Block Learn Enable?
