So I have been researching and collecting a list of the Hardware I want to use.
All the little pieces add up lol.

I need to find out if it is S3 compatible (Hibernate/sleep etc)
Basically wanting to use VB6 (or .net if I can muster up the skills lol) and make a Tabbed Operating System type of look.

Most I would have running at anyone time I think would be
Scanner
GPS Nav
Music Player
Back Up Camera


Though if I keep going custom I can do more like add an extra Monitor output and the Kids can Watch a DVD in the back etc etc

That's pretty kewl. Just for added insurance I think I'd try to rig up some kind of silent fan in there somewhere to keep air moving around it behind the dash.
