those are all for f-bodys with the lb8, the 5 speed and federal emissions on the 1227302 ECM. from various years, but they'll work

Wont I need a 5 speed stick chip, not an auto 5 speed.

Its said to be programed to rev down slower. It holds the rpms for a sec when you let off to aid in shifting. I member it coming up often when an auto guy would get a used stick prom at TGO.

those are all chips meant for manual 5 speed trannys. i dont think there was ever a 5 speed auto f-body.

and i imagine it losing less rpms would be due to the throttle follower opening up the IAC.

Ok I was just worrying about the list of ones I posted as thats all that is for sale now. cheap though.

Im still real close to picking up a carb'ed motor for $100 and switching though.

Well I did find an HNL

But man does the new ebay motors suck, you never find the same stuff twice with the same search words. Its like a total shot int he dark, like early search engines days.

They need google to fix things.
