I'm trying to get my speedo in my TGP to read accurately with the 284. The auto final drive was 3.33 and now the 284 final is 3.67 IIRC. Anyways, my current auto chip reads 17992.44 pulses/mile and I'm looking to compute what it should be with the getrag 284. Should I divide what it has listed by the auto final drive ratio and then multiply by the manual final drive ratio[ 17992.44 / 3.33 = 5403.16 x 3.67 = 19829.60 ]???

In the DOHC chip it is set as:

    24016 PU/MI (0133)
    6 IP pulse divider (80)

What is the size tires that comes on that car?? As the circumference of the tire could be different than the TGP's 245/50/16.

My IP pulse divisor was set at 9...what exactly does the IP pulse divisor do?? I think it divides the signal from the vss and then sends that value out to the gauge.
