Does it work for your vehicle? Don't know. Worked on my '95 Monte Carlo Z34.

So instead of going to Murray's..This hardware will allow me to connect the laptop up to the plug inside the car and pull codes if the SES light is on?

Is this all it does or does it have more features? And the software is on the site to use or do you have to buy the software to put on the comp?

I have a 95 GTP so I am guessing it would work. I think.

This device connects a car to a laptop for data communication purposes. This device is nothing more than an interface. The only data you can receive is whatever the car will tell you.

The software I used is CarBytes v4. You need the data stream info to setup CarBytes to work with your vehicle. I can provide both, but that's as far as I will take it, the rest is up to the purchaser.

You must have some sort of understanding of RS232 communications and fundamental computer knowledge.
