need turbo headers for an ironhead 3.1!

topic, i want to build my own turbo kit & all i need for now is the headers, anyone got some?

you dont need turbo "headers". alot of people that have gone turbo have been succesfull with running a custom y-pipe off of the original manifolds to a remote mounted trubo and then out the back from there. if your looking for original 3.1 turbo manifolds, the rear one is the only one that is different but those are for aluminum. search ebay for a goos set of stock fiero manifolds, but still, you should spend the money on something else.

you might be able to get what you need just by simply swapping the left and right manifolds. it all depends on the layout you have planned.

I have a set I'd be willing to sell, that I made for my 3.2L Hybrid. They do have the genIII D-shape port. But the flange could be modified (bolt holes slotted) to fit the iron head bolt pattern. The turbo flange is a standard T3 flange.

Left header (crossover is also in picture):

You would need to make a new crossover, since I have used part of the crossover for other headers now. I was always planning on making a new crossover anyway.

The headers were used in a 1985 GMC S-15 Jimmy 2WD, non-AC.

lol how much u want for em? also-doubt, where would i get the flange that i need to bolt the specific turbo that i get to my exhaust if i made a custom setup like you're talking? also i assume all turbos have different flanges, correct?

for future reference, i live in one of the most redneck towns in ohio, we have no speed shops. i actually got the privelidge to go through the smallest little shithole town in ohio, where it was twice the size of my town, but everyone had their own gas pumps because there wasnt a gas station/grocery store/indoor toilet for 10 miles in either direction. lol

im in ohio too. im between dayton and cincy so i got a few more options. no turbo stuff tho. and pretty much didly for my car anyways. im an ebay warrior.
