I don't want to keep these heads any longer than I have to. Trust me, when I have the flow numbers on them, I will post them here. Once that information is up, I will start accepting money. I wouldn't want to buy heads without flow numbers, so I'm not expecting anyone else to, either.Last edited by Will'sFiero; 06-08-2006, 06:28 PM.Current:

FLOW NUMBERS
I had two heads flowed.
Code:Lift #1 Int #2 Int 0.100 58.7 58.0 0.200 110.5 110.8 0.300 135.7 138.6 0.400 145.0 142.1 0.500 149.5 151.0 0.600 151.0 152.5 Lift #1 Exh #2 Exh 0.100 56.9 58.4 0.200 101.9 100.2 0.300 140.0 138.2 0.400 149.0 152.1 0.500 152.2 153.6 0.600 153.7 153.6
These heads waste no time getting a big fraction of their flow going once the valve lifts. I think it's obvious that's what BPE was going for when they did this port work.
It's also very interesting that the exhaust flow is approximately the same as intake flow. This indicates that the engines on which these heads were used had very high compression.
This will be better than stock heads on a built engine, but they will REALLY shine when used with a blower or other form of forced induction.
A multi-angle valve job would probably provide significant improvement. I didn't have the scratch or time to have one done on this pair before getting the measurements done. The seats in these heads were last run in race engines over a decade ago, so they could benefit from cleanup work.
For those ready to buy, the best way would be via paypal to william.lucke@highspeedlink.net .Last edited by Will'sFiero; 06-09-2006, 02:41 PM.Current:

I'll let the titanium retainers go at $100/set (set being enough for an engine) and the rocker studs go for $50/set.
Heads are $400/pair and Titanium valves $200/set.Current:

These numbers are from Oreif on PFF who had a stock head and a ported head flowed to see the difference. The "stock" head may have had a cleanup, I've heard both about this data.
Code:Intake Lift Falconer #1 Falconer #2 Ported Stock 0.100 58.7 58.0 0.200 110.5 110.8 98.1 96.1 0.300 135.7 138.6 139.0 129.0 0.400 145.0 142.1 158.6 148.6 0.500 149.5 151.0 165.7 155.7 0.600 151.0 152.5 166.5 156.5 Exhaust Lift 0.100 56.9 58.4 0.200 101.9 100.2 88.0 82.0 0.300 140.0 138.2 117.3 107.3 0.400 149.0 152.1 131.3 121.3 0.500 152.2 153.6 140.2 130.2 0.600 153.7 153.6 145.2 135.2
As I said before, the valve job on the Falconer heads was raced on 10 or 15 years ago. A multi-angle valve job should show noticeable improvement at all lift points.
These heads were used on engines that made 300 HP naturally aspirated back in the day. They would do well in any iron head V6 buildup. Modern roller cam technology can take even better advantage of their capabilities.Last edited by Will'sFiero; 06-09-2006, 06:53 PM.Current:
