  • WTB/T: 3100 roller tipped 1.6 rockers

Just looking for a set of the stock roller tipped 1.6 rockers. I have a set of later full roller 1.6s if interested in a trade (stock 3x00, not aftermarket).

      Weren't any full-roller stockers, either.

and to prove I'm not going crazy:

I don't know how me saying "full roller" would be incorrect.

And I certainly could've sworn that in between using the old, regular stamped rockers and the roller fulcrums, 3100s got stamped rockers with roller tips.

There was never a roller tip anything in 3100's. They went from stamped steel in '93-95 to roller fulcrum in '95.5- present. There's no roller at the tip on either of those. You may have seen the comp cams ones and thought they were stock (they could pass for stock)

            d'oh.

I still could've sworn up and down that people talked about having just roller tipped rockers in their 3x00's, stock.

so, ok. 60* V6 (FWD) rockers went from 1.5 stamped, 1.6 stamped with the 3100 (were all of them?), then 1.6 "roller fulcrum" with 3x00 in late '95-'96ish+ (at least in w-bodies).
