I was going to build this one up, but I found a couple more that are better candidates for what I want.
Here's the whole story. My buddy had a 1990 Camaro that his girlfriend decided to ram with her Camry after he dumped her. The two parts of good news are that her Camry was hurting, and the damage was only on two fenders and a door. He decided to just part it out. I got the stock 3.1 and 700r4. It has every inch of wiring, including 2 ECMs, (one was a spare he picked up at work) all the relays, connectors, MAP, and other sensors. Nothing was cut, nothing broken, except one heater hose that was being a pain I even took the O2 sensor out of the exhaust. I also have the intake bellows - the piece that attaches to the TB. Its a complete and unopened stock assembly with clean red tranny fluid and clean oil. They both have 170k miles.
He was a service tech for GM and if he's actually as anal as his station suggests, it should be fine He said it burns no oil which is consistent with when I saw it running in Sept. No oil smell when I followed him, no smoke, but I haven't personally seen the car since Sept. The A/C blew cold, so its usable with some refrigerant.
Big bonuses... Just before the ramming he did some pretty big stuff; new water pump, alternator, belt, tensioner pulley, and a few other things. He said he was going to do a new cap and rotor but didn't get to it (and I looked... it needs them)
I'm not sure what to ask, so I'll say $250. I think the accessories are worth that much. Let me know if I'm way off either way.
Located in Los Angeles. I don't mind shipping if you pay, but I think it will cost more than its worth. I also don't mind throwing it in my wagon and bringing it to you if its within a short distance. We can split the gas cost or something, but be forwarned my wagon gets 8 mpg
Pictures tomorrow.
