Well, there's a time when you need to cut your losses this time is now. Note:I cut and pasted this from W-body Classifieds so if there is anything you guys want to know more about feel free to get a hold of me.
1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme International
Quad Buckets
UB3 Digital Cluster
Rebuilt 5-speed w/less than 5k on it
2.8 Engine has 166k along with the body
History: I bought it from a member on this board, nerfbars, this car in the summer of '04 from a guy in Northern Michigan. I paid $1000 for it. He bought it with the intention to restore it. He bought it with a blown 2.8 and swapped a 2.8 from a '89 Cutlass. He replaced a few parts on the car. I bought the car drove it the hour back to my place up north and parked it in the garage. The car then sat from July-March of '05, when I sold it to Kevin.
Kevin and I drove up from SE Michigan to my place to get the car in the dead of winter. We changed the oil and put a fresh battery in it. Kevin bought it from me for $1500. On the way home the shifted started to come out of 5th gear on I-75. This sucked for both of us, and I refunded Kevin $200 for his troubles.
Kevin put a new trans and clutch sometime shortly after he bought it from me. He drove the car daily from March until October when I bought it back from him. While he had it, 2 people backed into him; the first one cracking the bumper cover, and the second denting the quarter panel. He also rear ended somebody which dented the hod up and broke the bracket on the passenger headlight. This really doesn't matter since the hood was fucked from rust already.
I foolishly bought the car back for $650 in October. The car needed a tune-up bad since it would buck and not have any power above 2K rpms. I limped it back to my place replaced the ICM and coils. Still the problem existed. After a month of swearing I finally threw in the towel and bought a '89 5speed harness and ECM and decided to do a harness swap. This is pretty much how the car sits.
The harness is almost off the car and the new harness is ready to be installed. I pulled the UIM, LIM and the Valve Covers off.
What I replaced:
I wanted to make this car my daily so I bought alot of parts for it
I replaced the Distributor O-ring
Napa Silicone Spark Plug Wires
AC Delco plugs
Valve Cover gaskets(need to be installed)
Intake gasket set(need to be installed)
New Fuel Injector O-rings(need to be installed)
New GM Trans Mount(need to be installed)
When the engine was swapped someone didn't put the 3-point dogbone back on, I have one from the yard.
Coolant is fresh and was flushed by Kevin
Newer Alt. from Kevin
I have the AC delete pulley (needs to be installed
What the car needs:
Engine harness put on
UIM,LIM, and Valve covers installed
Ball joints and tie rods badly, pretty sure they are orginal
Needs struts probably at all 4 corners
The hood and trunklid to be installed
Probably a new header panel with headlights
TLC
A good day or two worth of work and this car would be together and on the road.
I have alot of extra parts to go with this car too. I have:
an extra '89 ECM and MEM-CAL
'91+ Coolant Bottle
2 Airbox's
Trunklid and Hood (my sister backed into the car)
More I know but I can't think of anything.
Body: Worst aspect of the car. The paint on the hood is gone and was spray painted. The body has dents everywhere. I have a new hood and Trunklid that just need to be put on. There is some rust, since this was a Michigan car. The suspension is rusty but intact. The only bad stuff is under the GFX. There is a hole but nothing worse than what Toro Toro had on his.
Bottle line, this car would be a awesome parts car since it has a rebuilt trans. I really want it out of here within the next 2 weeks. If no interest is made here it will move on to ebay. REMEBER: The car does not run so it will have to be towed.
Asking price: I'm asking $750/obo. Some may thinks that's high but I have put alot of time into this car, and I have very many parts for it alone. I know I have dumped well over $400 alone into parts for this thing. A trans rebuild would easily cost over a grand in parts and labor.
Please someone take advantage of this and get it out of here. I need my garage back! Also, my parents won't let me get a new car until this is gone! Help me out.

And please don't flame or pollute my thread.
Thanks,
Tony,
PS: Chris(slick94prix) and Jay(xtremelumina92) have both seen the car and can vouch for me. I just want to be honest as possible.
