you really want to bolt it to the front of the dohc? I have one from a 3.1L lumina.. believe the bracket is the same, i know the ICM and coilpack is the same.

why not get the LH lifting bracket, the stand and brace, move your ICM and put it up top?

I dont know antything about putting it on top. the 96 dohc mounted the DIS on the side of the block

The 96 DOHC mounted it on the side of the intake, not the side of the block. If you want it up top you need the 96 type. If you want it down below the exhaust manifold, then the 3.1 bracket will work.

I had no idea...im working with a crate engine and the only pic i have seen is one with the Dis pack below the exhaust manifold. Can you show me a pic of the 96 dis pack and the way its mounted?
