  • Wanted: FRONT EXH MANIFOLD 96+ DOHC

Like the title says... I need the one that would be considered the "front" on a FWD car. The one without the down pipe flange.

I know a junkyard here in Houston Tx that will sell you one.. would hate to think about shipping to canada though. They have an extra front. I just hate they tried to pull the engine wrong and cracked the top off.

Shipping wouldnt be bad. there is this misconception that shipping over the border is harsh. it is only expensive if you use UPS or the like

                  UPS IS A RIP OFF

Would you be willing to pull it and ship?

I will probably be going out to that salvage yard on Thursday or Friday. I was just thinking when I bought mine they must weigh a good 35lbs. USPS isn't bad.. but i know customs will hit you, probably based on there retail price. and it would still probably cost a good chunk of money becuase of weight.

Let me know, i will see what i can do. Oh, it has A.I.R. Don't know if they all did or just the standard trannies in 1997.

WTF is A.I.R. some smog wizbang deal? Yeah dont need that.

As far as customs is concerned it the "declared value" they go off of. so if you put its worth 400 bucks then i pay out the ass. if you put 5 bucks then im basically paying for the box

Yeah, air is some wizbang smog deal. Although I am not sure they all don't come with it. I know the 91-95 engines only had it on the manual transmissions... however I think they started making all the cars have it in 1996. I am pretty sure this is a 1996 or 97 Monte Carlo it is in. If nothing else you can do like I did. Go to the hardware store, buy a huge bolt.. I think it is a 15/16ths or 7/8ths and take the pipe off, coat the bolt and instant no hole.
