I did not back out! The buyer did because of some unfortunate events. I deleted everyones email cuz i thought it was sold. Then i was told by a few people (on this board) that I could catch a few more bucks maybe. I am still losing my ass from the $1400 i paid for it.

That has NOTHING to do with it. YOU had people interested here at the price YOU asked.

Got this this for a project in school and never used it would like to get some of my money back. Looking to get 500$ shipping between 150-200 depending on location. Can send pics. Motor has block, heads, water pump, oil pan, valve covers, and most electrical plugs new.

So you paid 1400 for a motor that was free to colleges for students to work on. Im not believing this. If you thought it was worth 1400, why list it here for 500? Then you say someone backed out of the deal in 24 hours...and post on ebay almost immediately after that? You must think we are retarded.

From now on, all posts pointing to ebay by the people posting them on ebay are going to be deleted. Its been a rule, but I even let this go. Not any more.

What he did was not illegal by any means. Was damn sure unethical though. Makes us look like Market Research. If he would have taken the time to search the site, he would have found out how much a crate LQ1 is really worth. And it is a lot more than $1400.

Personally, I would ban him from the site, but leave the post as future reference for future idiots.

At the very least he violated a rule

3. This is not an eBay listing area. If you find something on eBay you think people might be interested in, feel free to post it. But, DO NOT list your items on eBay and then come on here advertising that its on eBay. Either try it on here for a week or so, then put it on eBay and state so in your post, or just put it on eBay. Maybe someone else will find it and post a link for you.

please ban me from this site, you are all a bunch of pathetic loser with nothing better to do that rant and rave. I gave it a shot here thought it was sold, which it was. I had a $50 deposit (which i refunded) then i was told

"BY PEOPLE ON THIS SITE THAT I SHOULD GET MORE FOR IT"

(everyone that emailed me I said it was sold, they said I should have sold it for more, and i still did not back out, ask the guy who bought it)

So I went to ebay. Also by the way the college does cover cost like that, it is student funded, which i paid for, to go into a vehicle i owned, but the class would work on. Third i signed up for this site about twenty minutes before I posted the original post. Sorry I did not spend the time to find out not to link a ebay listing.
