I am installing a 5 speed Getrag MG-282 tranmission into my 4 speed auto 88 Chevy Celebrity Eurosport. It has the 2.8 motor. My car did come with the option of this 5 speed tranmission in 87-88. However finding one is next to one. Does anyone know of anyone with this car willing to part out? Or if not I am getting together parts. I already have the transmission and hydralic cylinder for the car. However I do need these really bad. I need the front and rear transmission brackets. As of right now, I know of only the 87-88 5 speed A-bodies (celebrity and 6000) working, and 87-88 Pontiac Fiero with the 5 speeds. The Fiero uses the same brackets. Does anyone have access to these brackets and willing to sell? I will also need a clutch petal/brake petal assembly out of a A-body with a 5 speed, or X-Body with a 4 speed setup. Last thing I will need is the shifter assembly out of a 5 speed A-body. I am trying to find out of any other GM cars with 5 speeds will bolt right in. If anyone has access to these parts, please feel free to contact me. Thanks

i believe i have a NOS gm a-body clutch master cylinder mount kicking around somewhere from when i was going to retrofit a hydraulic clutch into my belair. i bought it probably 9 or 10 years ago. -
