  • f/s 96 3.4 dohc block

taking a loss here but, i have a 96 block that i was going to have re-built but lost the main caps and decided to use my 97 "mock-up block" instead.

anyway it does not have the mains but in otherwise good condition, i'd recommend oversized pistons for it but stockers may work.

the shop cleaned it all up(78 dollar value btw) be4 i decided to use the other one after i found out he'd have to align bore it to use mains off of another block, it was cheaper just to eat the cost and use the other block instead.

due to the weight i highly doubt any1 will take it but wth. there may be some1 out there.

p.s. also 96 blocks have a couple revisions from the previous ones. such as the ability to use 2 knock sensors, a relocated oil pressure sensor spot, plus it still has provisions for the stock oil cooler(as in the coolant port is still there but capped) and (i think but not sure) it has revised oil passages or some kind of factory revision i heard of.

other than that it is identical in every way to the previous blocks and the previous blocks may have a dual knock sensor provision too, not sure.
