  • 94 GTP DOHC 5spd for sale $750

I am really needing to sell this car, with the amount of time I am putting in at work and having a second car that is my daily transportation, this one has just been sitting. Not everything is perfect but it does run and is in overall decent shape (its been sitting for a month so its a little difficult to start at the moment, after a few days of driving its back to normal).

I would much rather see somebody have it then for it to detoriate before my eyes. $1250 gets the car and everything related to it I have laying around. Pics can be found on my website here: www.brian89gp.com and where www.brian89gp.com/car/

Some of the stuff that is new:
    -Kuhmo 711 245/50-16 tires
    -front calipers
    -master cylinder
    -most of the engine gaskets
    -alternator
    -HUD, DIC
    -front rotors
    -a/c compressor
    -water pump
    -power steering pump
    -clutch
    -clutch master cylinder
    -cat converter

there are a few things in need of attention:
-the transmission rattles rather loudly, all the gears and syncro's are still there, just noisy
-engine will not idle smooth, runs fine otherwise
-brakes are still not the greatest
    -needs struts

Car is located in Kansas City, zip 66216, I'd be willing to deliver/meet somebody in a 2-3 hour radius.

If you are interested, give me a call at 816-305-2035

If you did cam timing, that would explain the tranny rattle, both my 5 speeds do that and they both have cam timing. I was reading about it in a GM service manual, and when the motor isn't running 100% smooth, you'll get that noise. It's not detrimental, just the slop tolerance in the box from the gears constantly getting shook by the motor. Just a word for anyone interested in the car it's nothing to worry about.
I may own a GTO now, but I'm still a 60V6er at heart.

I'd love something like that. I'm in the same boat as you, though, with one project, and a daily driver, plus another car that is sitting. Best of luck selling it, though.

I'd be interested if you lived closer. I don't feel like running half way across the country anymore for cars.

You might be able to get more for it than 750 if you part it out. I would be interested in the tranny, clutch, cables.... everything to swap my car to a 5 speed. How many miles are on it? Does the tranny rattle just because of cam timing like GP said?

What happened to your turbo project?

Sitting in a box in my garage. I got into sportbikes and lost interest in the car.

Unfortunately I'm not going to part it out.

1634 Miles for me. I can't see myself bringing it back here plus paying taxes/duty/inspections/registration and other shit for less than $3000 CDN. Too bad it's a sweet deal.
