  • 3.1L MPFI

Well I am taking apart my old indy so I can piece together my second indy (better interior, and wiring) to create a rather rust free and clean car(gotta love cars from the south). So anyhow I have this spare 3.1L MPFI with about 130,000 to 140,000 on it and was said to be in working condition (no knocking or pinging). I will be swaping in a 3400 in its place or I will be using the 3.1L MPFI out of my first indy which has less miles on it. Located in Louisville,Ohio, and my email is sephiroth2029@aol.com if you need to directly contact me. Might have a second 3.1 up for grabs in a few weeks. As for pricing I am not quite sure what to set it at so starting at $275obo. Thanks for looking.

    RE: 3.1L MPFI

price drop $150obo. I also have a second 3.1 I will sell if I can find a 3400 to swap it out for (both engines are out but I want to secure a 3400 before I sell the 3.1 just in case). I'd prefer local pickup on either engine or maybe someone is willing to trade a spare 3400 locally? I also have a set of Yellow Indy wheels with tires( the tires will probably need to be replaced as one of them is flat), also complete set of Indy seats(both fronts and rears), rear interior quarter panels, possibly tailights, filler panel, headlights, a 92-96 beretta interior wiring harness. Need to move out stuff asap so I can get this car together. Thanks for looking.

Well If I can get enough people to account for the parts I will start breaking it down this week. I will also be posting some pics of the interior 92-96 beretta harness(bought it off ebay but it wasn't compatible with my 90 components), Indy side ground effects, indy dash, rear indy door panels, 1990 indy 3.1 engine wiring harness with computer, indy hood, and some headlight/w bulbs.

            RE: 3.1L

Might be willing to trade a few of the parts locally for a complete 3400 top end(heads, UIM,LIM,exhaust mainfolds with crossovers, etc). Preferably 2000+ with the roller rockers. Also if anyone has the special length pushrods needed for the swap I'd be interested in those to(gonna need an egr to heh). Thanks for looking guys.

                RE: 3.1L

I saw that a few days ago and I'd be all over that if you were located closer(I am running low on cash and the shipping would probably run 50-60 if not more for all that stuff). Like I said I am looking for something local and preferably someone who would take some of the old 3.1L parts as partial trade.

I also have a spare 3t40 trans to add to the list. $75 for it and I am supposing it has about 54,000 on it assuming its the original in the car(bought another retta for parts). Here is an updated list of parts I have including some yellow indy beretta stuff (seats,tails,doors,etc)http://www.bstuff.com/index.php?act=ST& ... ntry303887

how much you want for the lower intake? I broke a damn piece off mine that the valve cover bolt goes into.

well I wasn't planning on parting it out, but at the rate things go I am starting to consider it... Once I get a fair pricelist made up and I have time I think I will be breaking the engine down. I just need a couple days cause I have to take my block off the stand, take the tranny off my hoist, and then swap the other engine onto the stand lol. Plus its supposed to rain most of the week. I will get back to you soon if you can wait.

well as of now my spare 3.1L engine has been tuned up and is being dropped into my indy tomorrow into I can afford to do a proper rebuild or swap. The engine harness and ECM have been sold so as of now I still have the following for a 1990 indy beretta
