  • WTB FPR and Fuel Injectors

Hey guys i'm looking for a set of '99 and older 3400 fuel injectors in good working order as well as a '96 through '99 3x00 FPR. I've got a set of '04 3400 fuel injectors/harness and FPR from my engine with 400 miles on them. I also have a front cover from the '04 3400 in like new condition.

I'm still working on what setup i'm going to use just to get the engine running as I'll do the chip programming later on. Need something that'll handle the fuel as I'll be putting a good amount of power out of the thing.

the 04 FPR isnt the same as the 95-03? i know the 3100 and 3400 FPR's are the same from 95-03.

and IIRC, the 3400 injectors are the same from 00+ and the 3100 and 3400 injectors are the same for 96-99

and if your putting a good amount of power into the car, use the larger injectors from 00+ 3400's or even use the mustang injectors or even the GTP injectors.

Yeah different part numbers for '99 and older FPR vs '00 and up. I thought the '99 and older FPR was a lower pressure unit than a '00 and up. Same with the injectors I want to use a Multec 1 unit. But yeah what I may do is go with the '<99 FPR and Multec 1 3400 injectors. Either way if anyone has these parts i'm sure we can work out a deal.

fuel pressure is the same for me, IIRC. 40psi at idle for either model. i have used both.

as for the multech stuff, well, i have a 96 pcm, and i have correctly ran the 00+ injectors and i am currently running the 42.5# Lucus 009 injectors.

not sure about you obd1 guys and how that works out, but the common myth was that the 00+ injectors wouldnt work with the 96-99 pcm's. they do, but the pcm needs to be calibrated for the larger size not because of the different "style"
