    really? thanks for the info! the last few times i've been to the salvage yards i've been too busy looking for Turbo Dodge parts , next time i'm there i'll definately take a look at the V6/5-speed Beretta/Corsicas. thanks!

      i found one! well, two actually. i bought one from joberlee yesterday, and then as luck would have it, i found another bracket while i was at a salvage yard in Denver today! i pulled it from an '88 or '89 Beretta with a 2.8/5-speed. it had a 'bolt in' intermediate shaft and a bracket exactly like the W-body 282 bracket. funny thing was, i also found a '90 Corsica LTZ with a 3.1/5-speed and it had a different 'slip in' intermediate shaft with a slightly different bracket. wierd.

      unfortunately, it's cracked just like the one in the pic i posted (which Davis has now). i'll have to get it welded up/reinforced....
