I'm parting out a Gen II 87-92 motor.
This motor was a reman unit that failed within 3 hours of being installed by a licensed mechanic -- it spun a bearing. The reman company didn't want it back, and I'm parting it out.
The block is Block 10065459, which is one of those funny FWD/RWD motors, being uses in the '88 Fiero, the 87-91 Trooper, as well as the normal FWD suspects (was intended for a Celebrity). The unit is pretty much torn apart, but I kept the heads sitting on top of the unit, and the pistons in the block, so both the pistons and cylinders should be good. The pistons are overbored by 10 mm. The timing chain and gears, as well as the cam, appear to be in good shape.
I posted the Gen II heads on eBay... per rules, I won't post that here, but if I sell them here I'll obviously do it.
I also have some Gen I parts -- two bone stock used cylinder heads, for instance, as well as an automatic tranny flex plate from an '88 Camaro.
My collection of parts was so I could build a Stalker (or Locost) using Gen I or Gen II parts. I now have a 2000 3100 motor, along with a 2002 Grand Am PCU and wiring harness, and a T5 dual-starter bell housing. It is my intent to use those to build my hot rod, so I no longer need the rest of the stuff.
