  • WTB early 3.4 DOHC front manifold with AIR

I'm looking for the 91-95 style front exhaust manifold.. I need one with the AIR tube bosses machined and tapped. Anyone have?
I'd prefer it with the AIR tubes too but not necessary; plugs are fine.

The only thing air injection does is heat the cat up faster, so you should still pass as long if your engine is hot. If you have a updated cat and use premium gas you should pass without it.

Also the only real world thing this system does is to burn possible unspent fuel from a backfire or slight misfires, a properly maintained and tuned engine does not really need a AIR system.

Tell that to the California Air Resources Board (CARB). To pass requires a visual examination. Trust me, he isn't doing this because he likes the aggravation.

You know, Steven, I went through this when I was looking for AIR parts. Rather than parts I needed, I got people telling me what I didn't need. Wish I had one to spare. If you're close to certification, I'd be happy to loan you one of mine. I do have a spare tube. LMK

NO. Engine swaps in California require visual inspection at a state facility to ensure that ALL original smog equipment is present. It doesn't matter if the system doesn't do anything. It has to be present.

I actually need a spare front manifold to keep around for the turbo setup anyway so I'm gonna try to find one to buy. Thanks though.

So if you out a federal emm. engine in a cali car you have to convert it, rough. Not all manuals had them.

                  Time to get 3 bungs.

                    bump!

                    still looking.

note i don't need the tubes, if you have a manifold that has the plugs in it that works too.
