I'm looking for a package like this for a race vehicle, but am limited to gasoline-based fuels. Would it be feasible to convert this engine to C16?

Leaded racing fuel. 117 octane, rated for up to 17:1.
VP Racing Fuels is your one-stop shop for premium race fuels, lubricants, coolants, performance additives, small engine fuels, diesel care, and more.

VP also makes a number of other formulations that might be applicable. My question wasn't really specific to C16 - not knowing much about alcohol engine builds, I don't know how many changes would be required to convert to gasoline.

All you should have to do is change the barrel valve and the injectors and I think this would work. I thought the 15:1 may be a problem but with the C-16 @ 17:1, it shouldn't be. Oh, and re-jet the bypasses also. Simple.

hmmm.....Is this the cast iron or aluminum version of the Bowtie block? any photos of the engine? I'd like to get a better idea of how tall the fuel injection is. Also, what is the displacement?

                          -Steve

p.s. Just email the photo(s) to me at mnbiker@comcast.net, if you having trouble posting.
