WTB: Laptop

I am in need of a basic laptop to run a DHP powertunr. Needs to be around 300mhz pentium, have an ethernet port, serial port, working HD, CD rom, I need it fully operational with OS. Battery life is not a big deal as long as I can plug it into a wall. If anyone has one for sale reasonable, let me know. Thanks!

You want the fastest you can afford with the DHP powertuner. I have a P3 800 IBM laptop for 200 bucks but I dunno what your price range is. I dont have any P2 300s anymore but you wouldn't want to use that for datalogging anyway.

IBM Thinkpad T21 P3 800, 512 Meg PC100/133 ram, 40 gig drive partioned to 10/30. Screen has no flaws, everything works, DVD player, USB 1.0, 2 pcmcia slots, built in 10/100 lan, modem, serial, monitor out. I think that covers it. Its my backup laptop, which is identical to the one I use all the time.

Yeah, I forget how long it lasts but it doesn't have any dead spots.
