  • For Sale : LX9 from 2005 Uplander, 39k miles (Oregon)

I bought this LX9 years ago thinking I'd put it in my Trooper, but it's just been sitting on the stand. I pulled the intake, oil pan and brackets to mock up a RWD setup. The oil pan has been modified for RWD and I chopped the upper intake with the intent of having a different throttle body flange welded on.

I have since set all the FWD parts back in place so that I wouldn't loose them, bolts and whatnot are in there finger-tight. The long-block has not been touched otherwise.

Any interest? Located in Oregon. I'd prefer not to have to ship it.

Got a pic of the oil pan? Possibility of selling it separately?

There are some pics of the oil pan somewhere on the forum, I was looking through my old posts trying to find it.

It wasn't anything elaborate, I just boxed in the front of it. There is still a lot of material that could be removed. My friend did a good job welding it.

I really want to get rid of the whole engine... If I sell my Trooper, that will be my last 60ºV6 vehicle gone... :/

I'll try to find it. I am pretty sure I have at least 1 extra 3x00 oil pan lying around that I could ship back to you. If it looks like it would work for my application, that's just 1 less thing I need to worry about getting done.

Found several pics when you were comparing the 3x00 oil pan to the 4x4 oil pan, but no final pics of the 3x00 oil pan.

What if this engine were free? Seriously, I think I'm going to move in a few months, I need to clear out some things. It's practically new.

How much for just the oil pan?
