I have a throttle body and might have the injectors. I'll post back tomorrow if I do indeed have the injectors.
    Whats your zip code?

      I have a set of 3400 heads. They'll fit on a 3.1 bore.

I believe the bolts won't match up.

            You believe wrong.

The head bolt pattern is the same in all generations of the 660. (High feature versions might be slightly different)

The only non compatibility comes from the intake manifold side and between the gen2 and gen3 it's a port mismatch, not a bolt pattern mismatch. Gen1 is just completely different on the intake manifold side.

Now when you say "3.1 heads and intake" are you referring to the gen2 3.1 (1987 to 1994) or the gen3 3100 (1993+)? Because if you're wanting gen 2 top end parts I will STRONGLY suggest forgetting them and going for gen3 parts. The swap is exactly the same, except custom pushrods are really a must, but the rest of the swap difficulty is exactly the same whether you use a gen2 top end or a gen3 top end.

Good point Raven, and thanks for the education. I should have specified, I am looking for the Gen 3 heads and intake.

So I do have a set of 3400 heads/intakes if you want them. Shipping would probably be expensive though. It isn't cheaper to source them from a local junkyard?

I need the 3.1 heads and intake apparently. I can source them for $52 each plus $10 core and my time of course. I'd rather pick up a set already pulled if I can.

3400 heads will fit just fine on a 3.1. Any particular reason you want 3100 heads?

Better air flow from my understanding, and lower compression

You need to stop listening to the wrong people. lol

The combustion chambers are the same size from gen2 to gen3 (3500 is an exception, they are larger), so no difference in compression.

Small port 3100 heads flow less than the 3400 heads. large port 3100 (1999 or 2000+ 3100) are the same as 3400.

Ya 3400 heads are the best heads for a 3.1.

So to be clear, you are telling me that I can use the 3.4L block and bolt on the 3400 heads, intakes, and TB without any issues other than human error on the install?

Now to my other questions, bare with me lol, fairly new to the v6, I have done most of my work on a 305. Assuming the above setup is all bolt-ons, what will I have to worry about as far as valvetrain? Raven and I touched on this, but will I need custom length pushrods, springs, rockers, etc? If I'm gonna do this in gonna do it all the way. I am going too clean the heads and completely rebuild them, including a p&p with stronger parts, mostly from an edelbrock catalog. I also want a bigger cam so if you have suggestions with a great combination for the setup in planning please chime in!

@caffeine, what you looking for as far as price? I have the TB and 36lb injectors set already.

If I get $80 + shipping Id be happy. However I don't know what shipping would cost.

The biggest thing to consider is that your compression will go way up unless you use 3400 pistons. So it's a 3.4 block you have??

I wouldn't bother going with different rockers than stock btw. Stock are 1.6 and you'd have to do a stud/guide plate conversion for anything else.
