I have a complete ready to drop in combination I would like to sell if someone is interested. This started life as a Pontiac G6 3500 that I bought with 28K miles on it. I ported the heads, upper, and lower intake and adapted/customized a 3.1 RWD serpentine belt system to work on it. I installed a new starter, Water pump, alternator and A/C compressor onto it. I pulled the crank and changed the reluctor ring so that I could run and tune the motor off of an OBD1 system from a 91 Z24 cavalier. All of the gaskets and sensors are new. Uses a cable style throttle body off of an olds Aurora. I Installed a set of shorty headers and built rwd motor mounts. Had a 700R4 completely rebuilt, shift kit installed, and new torque converter. Some of you may recall I installed this into a 1980 chevy Monza referenced in this thread here. http://forums.h-body.org/viewtopic.p...33625&start=15 I had the car complete and running and put about 2000 miles on it over a period of a few years. It was wicked quick and got nearly 30 MPG. I sold the Monza to a guy who was putting a V8 into it so I pulled the powertrain complete from air filter to transmission tailshaft to ECM and wiring. Even the throttle cable is there. The only thing I did not keep with it was the power steering pump but the custom bracketry is still there so another could be bolted right on. Basically everything is here to put a hot little low mileage 3500 into a RWD application. I will sell the whole setup for $2000 if anybody wants it. You cant even get close to duplicating it for that price. Otherwise it can sit here until I think of another project car to stick it in.
