It's a regrind? I thought it was a solid core, or at least that's the impression I got.

If it is a regrind I guess it's a good thing I didn't actually buy it. Regrinds to me are not worth anywhere close to $200, IMO.

It would help to know exactly what this (or any) cam is to price accordingly.

Regrind doesn't mean it's not a solid core... Prior to Ben working with COMP he was using solid core replacement cams and having them re-ground to the specs he had on hand, He was very limited to what he could do because of having to start with the OEM profile which is why now the cam's he can offer have more options lobe wise.

Bridgetown, sorry I didn't realize it was you looking for it off kijiji... I do not ship off kijiji sales... just personal preference... as for shipping it, I would ship it, but not for $200 total... you guys may think that is fair, but I will not give it away... it will sit on a shelf for all I care and you can go buy a brand new one for double that price... as for the age of it, that's irrelevant given that it was only in a car for 45 minutes... not like it has been beat on everyday for the last 10 years... big difference...

With a different better lobe profile... That's my point. The technology used to make that cam and how the lobes were spec'd were limited due to the type of cam it is, making it's value compared to what you can buy from COMP/WOT-Tech today much less.

In addition to this a used cam is a used cam, whether it has 45 minutes of use, or 45 months of use. Granted a roller cam doesn't have the same wear potential as a flat tappet cam, but it's still a used cam, once the cylinders have been lit. Some people consider it used as soon as it's slid into a block.
