Last year I found an absolutely perfect 1989 McLaren Turbo Grand Prix in the junk yard. Nothing wrong with it at all. It was sold to the junk yard and the junk yard tried to sell it, but had no offers so they put it in the yard. I almost cried when I found it. Perfect interior, no body damage, engine ran and only had 108K on it. Keys in the ignition.
Anyway, I was looking for a motor, and I was going to pull the turbo 3.1 out of it for my 88 Fiero, but a few cars down was a 2004 GP with a Series III 3800. I know now that I should have pulled the 3.1 but its too late.
I did pull the intake, TB and inter-cooler. I tried to get the exhaust manifolds and turbo, but I could not get the last 2 bolts off so I had to leave them.
Car is long gone.
Parts I pulled are for sale. I am only trying to get my money back, not make any profit.
$50 for the intake/TB
$75 for the inter-cooler w/ pipes and clamps
