You could order one from the GM parts catalog, I have one from 03, Though they no longer produce it.
Chevy 60 Degree V6 BowTie

Aluminum Bow Tie block weighs in at 59 pounds.
Cast Iron Block (Rear Wheel Drive) 106 pounds.
Weight Savings, 47 pounds.
Would be nice in a Pontiac Fiero with 3400 heads and intake, The extra weight removed would aid in handling.
Sub 300 pound 60 degree V6 anyone?Last edited by Maple Leaf; 12-31-2013, 10:01 PM.2000 Chevrolet Malibu LS (LX9-F23 swap soon!) Slowly acquiring parts!

In addition, the bowtie blocks have been proven beyond 700 HP...Current:
\'87 Fiero GT: 12.86@106 - too dam many valves; ran 12.94 @ 112 on new engine, then broke a CV joint
\'88 Fiero Formula: slow and attention getting; LZ8 followed by LLT power forthcoming
\'88 BMW 325iX: The penultimate driving machine awaiting a heart transplant
Gone, mostly forgotten:
\'90 Pontiac 6000 SE AWD: slow but invisible
