I am new to the site, but I've been getting information from here for a long time. I'm still active on aleromod, grandamgt, v6z24, jbody and as of today gaownersclub and finally 60degreev6!
I have a set of ION-161 aftermarket rims that I purchased about 18 months ago. I have a matching set of 5 rims total. 4 of the rims are flawless. No rash, scratches Ect. One rim has some ugly rash but it has a tire and an extra center cap that I kept as a full sized spare.
The 4 perfect rims have Goodyear 225/50/r16 tires with 80% tread left on them . These tires are $110 each right now. The wheels are $90 each new. These prices do not include mounting, balancing, installation and warranty service.
The 5th rim that has some rash has a continental tire 205/55/16 that only has about 2000 miles left on the tread but it's a good full sized matching spare.
5 wheels =$450 + tax = $482.63 ($90 each) Cheapest I found them online
4 tires =$416 + tax = $446.12 ($104 each) Cheapest I found them online
Mount, balance install = $80.00 (what I paid last week)
total= $1008.75 plus the free spare tire and 5 new valve stems and locking lugs
I love these rims but I am upgrading my brakes and the new brake system won't fit under any rim smaller than 17 inches. Discount tire balanced the tires on these rims last week. I have the invoice.
The wheels have two bolt patterns I know that one is 5x115 because that's the one I use. 5x114.3 and 5x115 are the same pattern. I am using 5x114.3 on my car now with no issue and so are many other owners of vehicles with this bolt pattern. The other bolt pattern is 5x110.
