i'm the "replaced my chain twice and top end once" group....

Yes I'm aware of that but this whole "issue" was with the group buy so that seems to be who he's emailing, never mind that he never did tell you to send your set to him that I know of. I tried to tell him about you and how I believe your issues mean the pitch came out wrong on some sets somehow but no one wants to accept that. They keep saying my chain failed due to lack of oil, yet your setup has the proper oil slots on it and it still failed in nearly the same exact mileage as me.

I have a full Cloyes DRTC set and it does not do what the TCE did in the video I posted... I will lift out of the sprocket a tiny bit at full 360* wrap of the chain but you can easily pull it into place meaning it will probably stretch a tiny bit to get happy but no where near as much as mine did. I could physically measure stretch on the chains I had from pin to pin so when I get told mine "wore" because of lack of oil I have trouble accepting that because there is no physical wear on the sprockets or chain, it's stretched metal which last time I checked does not happen due to lack of oiling.

I'm currently very skeptical of re-using these when I do get them back... especially if the chain still fits the same way as the video's I posted because if you can't fit the chain all the way down in the sprocket for the wrap necessary when on the engine then it's guaranteed the chain will stretch till the rollers touch the base circle of the sprocket... There is just no way around it.

You were part of the group buy right? If so I say just get a GM setup or as I'm running now the SA Gear chain with GM sprockets.

If your crank is already modded then you can easily swap the DRTC in when you do get it back if you feel comfortable running it.

I wish this wasn't the case but with the lack of any information regarding whats going on with this I feel like we are all just shit out of luck on this deal... Kinda pissed about the whole thing honestly but at the same time I'm not going to beat the shit out of someone who does have legitimate health issues.... I just wish it didn't go this way.

I'm a bit pissed at this one... Someone on the Beretta Facebook forum was able to contact TCE or BCC and get a response rather quickly on ordering and having something shipped to him... Why are we getting dead air?



Anyone else have more leverage? He outright will not respond to any emails I send him anymore probably because he's pissed at me for not agreeing with him on what he think's is the issue with these parts but that's completely unprofessional if you ask me.

I got a reply from him earlier today, here's the important "news"

As for the status of the parts, I had a good sale last week and dropped the parts off for tumbling yesterday. They will be ready later this week. I should be able to start shipping them out around the end of next week.

at this point, I'm not gonna hold my breath, though.

Well about time we get some type of positive news. From the sounds of the response, it seemed to be a money issue holding them back.

Can't say whether I'll be 1st or not in using the DRTC set, but IF I get to the point where I am that guy first at it... Guess I'll find out first!
