I could physically measure stretch on the chains I had from pin to pin so when I get told mine "wore" because of lack of oil I have trouble accepting that because there is no physical wear on the sprockets or chain, it's stretched metal which last time I checked does not happen due to lack of oiling.
I'm currently very skeptical of re-using these when I do get them back... especially if the chain still fits the same way as the video's I posted because if you can't fit the chain all the way down in the sprocket for the wrap necessary when on the engine then it's guaranteed the chain will stretch till the rollers touch the base circle of the sprocket... There is just no way around it.
