I get paid friday, so I'll wait until friday, maybe a little later, but not much more than that.

I'm not too concerned about the $17 ill save if we get to 20, but it may be good to wait a bit longer to see if others want to join in. I think it's taken awhile for word to get out about these. (And with the cold weather now setting in, people may be thinking about what their winter builds will be.)

IMHO: it looks like interest gathered really quickly. in just over 2 weeks time, there has been roughly 1 set per day spoken for.

i'd give it at least another week, see if that rate stays up.

My point in suggesting the extra week or so. Don't want someone just missing it because they have been busy with life and didn't get to check the forum in a couple weeks. I have no life so I check everyday lol

I think that should be fair enough. Also see if Marc will allow additional orders after the intial order is placed. (Since I don't think any of us expect to have the product until next year.) If additonal orders are placed, just have them pay whatever the group rate was during initial order.

                    • Any time is fine with me... and yeah if we don't hit 20 that's not a huge deal the largest price jumps have already been accomplished.

Sounds good. Gives you time for marc to get back to you on how payment to him will be and get materials

                        • I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised at the interest as I had mentioned a GB to several people and got very little positive response. Since Eric was persistent on pursuing a group buy, I told him that I could get another batch made if he found enough people and collected the upfront money. With this being said, everyone can send their deposit to him and, after it has all been collected, he will forward it to us to start the run and the clock will start. Estimated lead time is 8~12 weeks due to all of the outside services required. I am hoping for a little less time but prefer being on the safe side so no one is disappointed. Once the parts are finished, the balance can be sent to me and I will ship the parts to you via USPS Priority mail. Shipping to Canada is an extra $7.60.

                          • Is the shipping to those of us is the US going to be a flat fee or is it going to be individual pricing per shipment?
