Hi, I have a set of LX9 heads along with its intake manifolds id like to sell.
My 3.4/3500 project fell victim to a healthy 4.3, and id like to sell this to buy a Moates APU-1 to tune my 7730 with.
Heres the story on the top end.
The heads at the moment are bare. I dont know how many miles are on them, but they were on a running engine when they were pulled. They were ran on a 3.4/3500 for a little while with LS6 springs and LS1 seats. Three valvespring seals failed, as it turns out, I had the wrong ones. So I pulled it apart to replace with new seals from WOT-tech.
The bad:
All valvetrain components were stored in a small bin, and the engine was put under covers.
I went through a fairly busy season then, so the project went on hold. Then, the shops roof sprung a leak after a major gust came through. Rain water then leaked into the valvetrain parts.
The rockers, pushrods, valves, springs, retainers, and keepers were ruined. I tried cleaning the rust off, but the parts were pitted from the rust, thus being FUBAR'ED
LS1 seats were left on the heads and are still good.
The UIM has been gasket matched to the fel-pro paper gasket.
The LIM port work was started needs a lot of port work to match the UIM, as I didnt have enough free time to finish the job.
The heads have not been touched with the die grinder though.
The good:
Theyre LX9 heads
The UIM is port matched and has block off plates for egr and the other round accessory by the TB (sorry im a rwd guy IDK whats its called).
Parts are in good condition.
Just shoot me an offer, and the best one takes it all.
