If donor car is an auto it has to specifically be a 93 as that is the last year of non electronically controlled transmissions, otherwise a 93-95 manual harness and ECM will do.

you "could" make any harness work, you just have to fool the harness to think its in drive all the time, or something like that. i had looked into it for the SFI 5spd swap for a beretta back in the day, i cant remember shit all about it now, ,but i'm just throwing that out there as a desprate option for yaComment

It's not my only car, so things aren't desperate, but I do want the infernal thing back on the road, I misses my camaros
Had a 96 for all of a week and a half...had to sell it when it snapped a conrod cause it needed too much other work.
Anyways, The swap will be tricky enough as is, I'm still worried about tying it in to gauges, and whether or not that harness and ECM has passkey, and a whole bunch of other crap...I figure I basically need the harness, ecm, the fuse block, and probably gauges as well...But at any rate, I am sick of messing with the car, I want straight forward and simple, just want it running again, though really don't want to go to the trouble of putting it back to stock and having no headroom as well as having to deal with a dizzy.Comment
