  • Feeling the market out, 3.4 OHV

Things are getting very tough financially. I haven't made a decision to actually follow through with this, yet. So I'm just feeling it out.

    So....
2004 3.4L v-6 out of an Olds Alero.
It had 9,000 miles on it when I rebuilt it. Professionally rebuilt, end-to-end balance, new rod, head, and main bolts from GM, fel-pro gaskets, modified high-volume/high pressure oil pump. Currently has 68 miles (yes less then 100 miles) in 1/4 mile increments, never street driven.
    3.5L upper intake.
    75MM throttle body.
Aggressive port and polish from TB butterfly to the heads @ 2000 grit finish, perfect seamless flow at all gaskets.
110 thermostat, easy to change out.
Everything else is stock. Only run on stock programming, never had emissions blown through her and nothing less then 116 octane fuel.
Runs consistent 14.50's, I geustimate she could do 13's easy if I could get her to bite. I never had the money for a diff lock.
I am also willing to include a custom built Dayco Torque converter with a 5k stall for a 4T60e.
I never had her dyno'ed but a horsepower calculator said 305 HP at flywheel.
I see some of these engines, stock, going for $1500 with a 10k-20k in miles.
I'd ask $2000 for her but will entertain offers.

Remember I'm not sold on the idea of selling her off yet, I appreciate any input you all can give.
I'm in the cleveland ohio area if that helps, I can not deliver or meet half way since my truck's motor recently died at 266k miles too.

you can see her run here:

    Thank you.

sigpicHow to make High performance Emissions:
A "true" High flow converter, straight pipe.
Low/No flow EGR valve, block off plate.
Carbon canister and purge valve mod, place in large 30 Gallon can, cover, and place curbside, the city will do the rest.
PCV valve and vent tube, reroute to exhaust to dump where it belongs, on the ground. Or add breathers and let it all free.
Working...
