  • For Sale : Brand New Comp Cams MPG/Torque Camshaft

Brand New Comp Cams Camshaft, obtained through WOT-Tech. The cam was designed for optimal fuel economy while providing increased power over the stock cam. I was told that it would give roughly 20 ft/lbs of torque increase at low rpm and around a 8-10hp peak increase in power.

The cam will fit the 3100, 3400 and 3500 LX9 engines.

    $230 shipped to US addresses

    Link to WOT-Tech discription:

    2011 Chevy Impala

"The world's best cam combined with a poor set of heads will produce an engine that's a dog. But bolt on a set of great heads even with a poor cam, and that engine will still make great power." ~John Lingenfelter

Don't see what's so confusing. By posting a link to ebay with the same item for less money than what the OP wants, you are attempting to undermine his sale. That's a terribly rude thing to do, especially when he's already undercutting WOT Tech by almost $100. Why does it matter that he wants more money? If someone wants to buy it for his price, good for him. You coming in here like some sort of consumer watchdog is completely unwarranted.

I think the confusing part is that the guy you are getting onto is also the original poster. Since no one bought it on here, he listed it on ebay, and linked to the auction. Hence, no one is undermining anyone's sale...

That would be a question for Ben, as he would have the ability to simulate it in the software he has.

Its not a drag racing cam. Its a MPG and Torque cam.

                          that i know.

I want to know if it would fair well in a car that does drag racing.

Yes, it should fair better than a stock cam check out the torque/HP numbers compared to a stock cam in the link posted by pacho.

Thanks for posting the link, I forgot about that one.
