lot of 2.8 and 3.4 Camaro engine parts

  • For Sale : lot of 2.8 and 3.4 Camaro engine parts

    {the 2.8} I ran it briefly before I found a crack in the block and water in the oil, I stopped running it after that. The parts appear to be in average used order, and it did run. The 2.8 was externally balanced:

    -crank (nodular cast iron I believe) $50
    -pistons (cast steel??) $50
    -stock connecting rods (5.7" forged steel, 7-7.5k redline) $50
    -flexplate $25
    -injectors $35
    -main caps $20
    -oil pump $10(Idk if its still in good shape since water was in the oil)
    *torque converter (may or may not sell, don't know yet) $50 if I do
    -alternator $25
    -AC compressor $25 (I have not used it, so cannot promise it works, but I have no reason to think it doesn't)

    Or whole rotating assembly(rods, pistons crank and flexplate) for $150. buyer pays shipping, or can pickup, I live in pgh, PA.

    From the 3.4 with 140k on it:
    -I have the iron heads with valves and springs on it, I can throw in rockers, pivots, studs, guide plates and pushrods from the 2.8, but they are in rough shape, I used the 3.4 ones in my engine. $50 either way
    -Throttle body with sensors $35, $20 without sensors
    -Plenum and LIM $40
    -timing cover $15 w/o cps, $20 with
    *Fuel rail with fpr (may or may not sell, no injectors or harness if I do) $20 if I sell
    -cam $35

    Buyer/s pay shipping, or can pickup, I live in Pittsburgh, PA. May negotiate on prices, and I probably forgot to list spare parts that I have lying around, so if you need something I didn't list, ask me anyway.
    Also I am willing to trade for 3500 (Lx9) top end components, turbocharger, 3 wire heated o2 sensor, and maybe rotating assembly components to lower CR in my 3.4 RWD, let me know what you want and have and I'll see if we can work something out.

      Do you still have the iron heads? I need a set of the larger intake valve heads. Do you need any 3100 engine parts, aluminum heads. Either way I still need the iron heads.

          Um, as dumb as this sounds one of the heads is...missing, I was moving all the parts from my mother's house to my apt and I know we boxed up the heads and that they made it to the car...somehow they never made it into the apt, I believe some asshole stole one(I had 3 things I know of stolen while living there)...

          So atm I have 1 iron head, I already looked pretty much everywhere for the other but I will try again even though I think someone took it to piss me off despite that I have never made any enemies or provoked anyone to do such a thing.

          I have been on the lookout for aluminum parts, but I am after 3500 stuff, I have a 3.4 in my car now...
