You really should specify which platform this is going into... L-body and N-body do not share the same bolts.

I should have a set from the N-body if Slinky does not.

We have three very large bolts that go through our motor mount. The N-body Grand AM does NOT share the same mount, therfore the top bolts differ. I had one of these engines at one time and I can't remember which bolts were different and I'm trying to decipher my pile of bolts to get them to him.

Anyone have a pic of the side of a N-body motor with the motor mount attached? Brendan do you remember the lengths of the top bolts, and which ones were different?

I just need the bolts that bolt the timing cover to the block. None that go through mounts or anything. Those I will swap over from my engine when I pull it.

Thats my point... There are some that bolt the timing cover to the engine that also go though a mount.

              this is a 3500 from a 04 Malibu

              And this is a 3400 from a 05 Impala.

See how the top two bolts are different depending on if there is a mount or brace there.

The Beretta is even more different.

Which bolts do you need? and does anyone have a picture of the side of N-body ready 3400?

hmm.. I'm probably better just waiting till I pull my existing engine and just swap them all over.

Yeah, I was wondering why you needed these if you still had the motor in the car.

I think I did find a similar set as pictured though.

Either way your only going to be able to bolt the bottom half on, and then wait till your other engine is out so you can swap over the support bracket.
