FWIW...
I was over at Best Metals Recycling today looking for a big chunk of plate steel for my next project and spied a Black Late 1980s Z-28 sitting under a shade tree (marked with a Red/Yellow Target on the Google Map Image...so you won't have any trouble locating where the car is parked)
If you are local to the Tampa Bay area and are looking for a project car... you might want to have a look at this vehicle. The salvage yard owner's name is "Bob" and is looking for something in the $3K range...but I can tell he really does not know what he has...other than a clear title on the vehicle. You can get all the poop on their address and phone from their web page here:
I barely know the man...I get nothing in the way of $$$ if the car is sold (or not) and have not looked at the car. I have no other information about the vehicle other than the fact that he said, "The engine was rebuilt and it runs..". Good Luck to whoever wants such a vehicle to have and to hold...
P.S. Closed on Sundays...but I'm guessing somebody might be around while everybody else is "Churchin' Up" to let a person take a peek at the car... Click on the attached image to see where it is 'resting'....
