No, I was looking to see if there was a set of 96/97 heads on ebay. A somewhat local yard wanted $75 a head (I kinda forgot to tell them it was a DOHC GM 3.4l, just said it was a GM 3.4l v6). Had started on tearing off a set on a car. They told me when I asked about heads to make sure it was an unmolested engine. Well, I gathered the parts I needed to complete my 96 intake swap, and in doing so molested a 96 Monte Z34 raping it of a rear valve cover, the strange brake booster hose, ICM bracket, PCV tube from the lifter valley and some other odds and ends. So when I asked about the heads and they said make sure it's a molested engine I replied "I saw one that was missing the intake and valve covers." to which they said ok. I went back today and that car was gone.... I got kinda mad since I had to save for 2-3 weeks to get the money to get those heads... So, instead of leaving right away, I decided to wander around for a bit. Ended up finding another Monte Z34 with an unmolested engine. Since I was mad because they crushed my car, I ended up feeling no remorse as I pillaged the heads, exhaust manifolds and crossover on this new car. The guy asked me what they told me the price was that I was told a few weeks before, told them $75 a head, but I had manifolds and crossover. He didn't charge me for anything but the heads. So now I have a set of 96 heads that I need to save to take them to the machine shop to have checked out. The coolant looked like crap in there, so I hope they are ok. This was only the 2nd 96/97 DOHC I've seen in this yard in the last 2 months... Time would also be good. I've gained a job doing roofing and other construction stuff with a friend of a friend. 7:30am to 5pm, and by the time I'm done at the end of the day, I feel like I've died. Guess after a while it won't be so bad after I get used to working again.

Lol. As they say in the hood... "True dat, dog!" The first day was the worst. It's gotten better, and this has only been 3 days I've been at it. Now it's just feeling like death has visited me, not death visited me and then a Mack truck ran over my carcass.
