The air box the previous owner rigged up. He said when he had it for sale down the street from his house someone stole his airbox. I didn't know z34 airboxes were hot items. But it's rigged up and I changed it out for a cone filter that is rigged in there too but I can close the hood. That rigged up airbox would not let me close the hood because it was so high. Lol

That's too funny, lol. I'm glad I keep the 92 locked up, someone might yank mah airbox! Crazy world we live in... Sad thing is it's a standard issue W body airbox for that time period, I thought, not Z34 or DOHC specific.-60v6's 2nd Jon M.

I am not sure why, but this forum page "locks up" with the hourglass and I can't continue whenever I try to reply, etc.
These are the parts which will be on my shopping list...now or later:
1) Driver and Passenger power window switches, including the colored plastic covers with writing on them. Please be careful when removing switches. I found out the hard way that the tabs on the gray plastic covers break easily. I probably also need the wiring harness on the driver’s side that goes from the switch through the door opening to the dash.
2) Driver and Passenger outside trim pieces at the top of the windows. They are black with a grey center. Inside the gray part is metal. Mine have rotted and the metal is showing. They attach to the top of the window frame down into behind the outside mirror. There are also two small rubber or plastic molding pieces that fit into a groove in the rear roof. I may also need the seals for the top of the doors where they join the body because mine appears to be leaking.
3) Driver (small) and Passenger (longer) trim that the dash vents fit into. There is a heater control above the center of the trim piece that controls heat/AC. I think mine is broken.
4) On the driver’s side below the steering wheel is a black plastic piece with foam in it that covers the underside of the steering shaft. This is held in place with two plastic pop rivets. The rivets are two pieces…one piece is like a molly bolt, and then there is a center plastic piece you pop in. At the bottom of that trim piece behind the accelerator there is a pin that sticks out and a clip that holds the piece on there. I need the rivets and the clip.
5) Do you have a picture of the clip on the driver’s side that holds the shift cable to the shifter shaft. Mine is missing, so I have no idea what that clip is supposed to look like. If you do decide to sell them I am and they are in good shape, I am also interested in the shift cable and other parts related to the manual transmission shift assembly.
6) My ABS light stays on and I need front hub bearings with the ABS sensors in them and the EBCM. However, you said that this car has over 200K miles on it, so I am not sure if they are any good. Do you have the gray plastic caps that cover the lugs on the wheels?

Sorry, I am having some difficulty figuring out where things are in this forum. I uploaded pics under the W-body area. Here is the pic for #2.
The trim pieces I am talking about are the ones at the top of the driver and passenger windows. They look silver in this pic because the rubber has cracked on mine. I am looking for some in great shape. Also, if you look above the rear side window in the roof, you can see the groove in the roof where the smaller trim pieces I am looking for go.
Thanks,

You know what I did for that same sort of trim on my moms Escort? I removed the rubber, sanded it down, cleaned it with brake clean and painted it with some "Trim Paint" in a rattle can from the parts store.
Your other option would be OE replacement retailers. My sister in-law got a brand new OE style headlight housing for her 2002 Dodge Caravan for $50 from this local company:

weather guards would probably also cover that trim. i have them on my car and i cant remember where they stuck on to. but i got them for $30!! brand new, just with 20 years worth of dust on them but still wrapped in the original plastic, not even the packaging was damaged! haha steal of a deal i thought.
