the only way to change things like that is through changing a flag in the tune. it's exactly like setting anything else up for a manual transmission.

lol I like it Robert. It looks flexible too which is good since sometimes you have to "cram" in all the wiring to get the pcm to fit where it's supposed to.

Do you make these for N-bodies and do you sell chips to run 3400 hybrid?

quite flexible, with the ~10+" of wiring that is between the OBD1 and OBD1.5 plugs, it gives you quite some room to work.

i was trying to do the math necessary to perfectly match the A harness with the B and C harness but then you start dealing with a lot more issues and possibly having a really compact harness that could be sticking in places that you don't want...

W-L-N and F when necessary. it's all in the guide i made.

as far as 3400 hybrid: 3500 heads/intakes? i don't see why it couldn't be done.

for those that didn't get to follow along or didn't care to read through my conversion thread, i'll post a pic of my first one(even though i look back at it now and make a horrible face)...

                QUITE an improvement since then

                  Much better

Have you thought about using split loom instead of the tape?

considered it, but it's tough to find locally, and shipping kills it when i find it online...

would look a little neater, but unless someone really has a hard-on for it, i don't see it happening...

Home Depot carries some thin stuff and it's cheap. I like using the thicker stuff, but might want to check it out.

~30 miles to the nearest home depot....

i guess i can check it out when i'm in that direction, couldn't hurt.

how thin compared to the factory loom?

well, the recession is certainly killing me...

in one week, i'm going to bump up the price by another $10...

so, new base price for the harness will now be $105 plus shipping. that's with me supplying everything except for the PCM itself(and MEMCAL/tune obviously) and it's plugs/wiring.

as of 3-15-2010, i only have 1 harness waiting to be shipped(BTW jay i forgot to add in the cost of me retrieving the PCM plugs. X1000).

are you still accepting partial build items to reduce pricing? (like plug pieces and pigtails)

yes i am. even though it's more of a PITA for me, it does lower the price significantly(and we all could use that these days...).

and SoopaGhetto and anyone else that expresses interest until that date will have the previous pricing of $95 base(but like i said, certain conditions will lower the price, just like how other conditions would bump it up(like having 2" stubs sticking out of the PCM connectors)).

Oh come on 'stubs you can deal with 2".... LOL

I've worked with much less but I do not recommend it. Very annoying indeed!!! Especially when you multiply that by all the wires in the connectors!!! As it stands even with the length on my connectors I will likely have to extend them with another wire before soldering to the OBD1.5 PCM connectors. No one solder connection per wire for me..

So what vehicles are these going into that you've made so far? Always good to hear of others projects.
