  • SOLD! 3400 TB from an 04' Chevy Impala

I'm selling the stock 3400 TB from the engine i have from a 2004 Chevy Impala with 17k mi on it. I'm upgrading to a 65mm from WOT-TECH. I'm going to attempt to upload pix but in the event that doesn't work, I can email them to whomever. I'm asking $200 shipped, but I'm willing to negotiate. Thanx.

No offense, but you are not going to get anywhere near $200 for a throttle body on this site. If you look at car-part.com you will have an idea what they sell for.... $35-$40 would be fair in my opinion.

In case anyone cares, the MSRP for a 3400 TB is $337.86, and you can get it from GM Parts Direct for $175.69. So like I said, you can get it brand new from GM for less than you were asking...

bzopi i dont see where this is coming from i highly doubt ur interested in this part first off and since you brought the actual price up thats exactly the reason i wouldnt sell it for $40. honestly i wouldve went $60 and broke even lol.

secondly yes gm would want that much, look up the price for a front spoiler for a z26 or even better a gtu beretta you would be suprised.

The reason I bring it up is because you are asking $200 for something off of a vehicle. I don't care if it only had 100 miles on it, it is still used. Therefore, why buy something used when you can get the same thing directly from GM for the same price. Or, do like you are doing, and spend $40 more and get a billet unit that is a lot bigger. All I was doing was providing more information to allow you to adjust your price accordingly. These things have been sold on here for less than $30, so why should you waste your time trying to sell it for more than a brand new one.

If you would've taken $60, or even $100, why would you ask $200 for it? And if its not sold, why in post #3 did you say it is no longer for sale? I guess you could have decided not to sell it, but I took it that you had sold it somewhere else.

And rereading your post #3, you say it is brand new, yet in the initial post, you say it is off a 2004 Impala with 17,000 miles on it. I'm confused...

as i stated i had a FRIEND post this, i came back to this thread to readjust the price (honest to god) only to find it was pounced on the way it was.

i dont even remember changing it to sold if i did think about it...whats the difference? the part was NO LONGER for sale.

i know well about car-part.com thats where i bought the 04 impala motor and idc honestly who selling what for what there. imo a TB with carbon buildup barely starting to show on the back of the plate...is pretty much brand new.
