  • Feeler:Brand new F40 trans

Just trying to see if there is any interest in a brand new g6 6spd transmission. I also have a 3.9L clutch and flywheel I might throw in. Just thinking about scraping the fwd(beretta) and going to rwd(f-body). I'd say pickup would be best, but if anyone is serious enough I'd be willing to freight. Located in Louisville, ohio or the canton area for those not fimiliar with my small town lol.

Forgot to mention I also have a jegs 12pt rollcage kit that I would also be letting go. This is a weld in cage and has everything except for a couple of the mounting plates which are just 6"x6"x1/8" mild steel.

Sell the trans and use a 282 getrag (less work) and finish the beretta!!!!

I thought about it but still for the power levels I am hoping for I just don't see a 282 holding up on top of that there is the traction issue since the best option we have is a pseudo lsd option. Rwd just seems easier in the long run for my goals, although I do think it would be cool to have an lz9 powered beretta.

I've been thinking of prices for the transmission, maybe $500 for the transaxle with the
stock low mileage clutch and flywheel.

Also for the cage I was thinking $200 as I paid over 400 with freight.

I will also be getting rid of the yellow indy beretta, but I am not sure how I will be going about it. Its currently just a rolling chassis and needs engine, trans, headliner, and carpet to complete. Light surface rust on couple spots, but solid door jams and fuel door and nothing rusted through. I have extra wheels, spoilers, repaired gtu chin spoiler, extra indy mirrors, interior panels, headlights, radios, seats, etc. If someone once I will sell them the entire lot of stuff.

If the moderator would be so kind as to delete this thread as I will be posting a more official for sale thread with more items.
