  • S&S headers for Beretta/Corsica

My Corsi is going to the jy and I'm going to sell the S&S headers that I modded to fit the L-body. Included is the flex tube and a 2.5" cut-out already welded to it if you are a racer. I'm just gauging interest right now and taking offers. I could not believe the increase in power throughout the power range and Asylum can also tell you what a difference they make in the way your car runs. I was using a t125/3t40 but they will fit on the 4t60 and a 5 speed. They are painted not coated and I used the flange on the collector so you can unbolt the cut-out for easy installation. I'll post more pics when I get them off of the car but here's a few.

I am looking to get ~ $500 for them but who knows, shoot me a reasonable offer and I might take it. I used the flange on the collector so that the flex tube and cut-out can be taken off for ease of installation. The headers were $514 without shipping and the cut-out was $26. Modding them was a pain in the @$$ cause I had to use a flux wire welder, lol. The headers are about 4 months old and I only drove the car for like 6 weeks before a steering rack mount broke off of the rusty firewall. Hell, I still have the box that they came in. I thought that my hybrid ran good before but when I put the headers on it I could not believe the change in power throughout the RPM range. I got the exh. and the front header off of the car Saturday but I still have to take the rear header off, I'll try to take pics and get them posted. Now I'm going to have to buy a new set for my Monte Carlo, but at least I won't have to mod them and they'll hook right up to the new 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust that will be here in a couple of days.

Here are more pics. I used ceramic header paint and the headers aren't rusty ,that is the paint discolored and can be sand and repainted. The fan is off of a '95 Z26 and will need to be used for clearance if you have a earlier model Beretta/Corsica. The weld aren't pretty but the headers fit and they don't leak. All of the bolts, the O2 sensor and the fan are included. The gaskets may even be reusable.

Who ever buys these should send them to me to be replicated since all the locals who wanted to use their car for mock-up backed out. In exchange, I will repair the welds and ceramic coat them with quality coating in return for using them as a template

ooh. how long would that take, forced? if i still manage to snag these i will be TOTALLY down for that. i'm all for more parts being availible, and i want some ceramic coated headers it'd be worth the wait, as long as it wasn't totally forever

As long as it would take to make a jig, grind/repair the welds and coat them.

I already have enough materials here to build 2 sets of headers

Just so nobody gets any ideas about me wanting to copy someone else's design, we just need a to get a referance point for the start and finish of the header, and the modified S&S is a perfect opportunity to do that, short of having an actual car here to fab on.

This will NOT just be copies of their headers, but rather just a template to let me build a jig on a block and know what the clearances are. The actual production headers will be a completely different design, and in fact already have the front header tacked together

Just wanted to clearify, not one to "photocopy" somone else's product...

Told you the welds looked bad and I didn't want to take the time to grind them off. But hey if you want them to look better you grind them off. Hell if nobody wants them I'll just cut them up with a saws-all take them to the jy because I'm not going to give them away. I ain't broke and it doesn't mean crap to me. LOL I made them fit, they don't leak, they work awesome, and I said my price wasn't firm.

Some people complain just to complain and be noticed. What's up with that?

i'm not gonna go crazy low-ball on you, just fyi

but if you're not broke, then why won't you give them away? seems liek a waste of headers to cut them up i'm j/p with you man

but yeah i agree. why complain about the welds? personally i'd grind them down, btu hey that's just my preference. they're nearly new, they fit, they seal, what's the damn problem? if you're not thinking of buying them then STFU and GTFO
