  • Wanted throttle detent cable

I need a detent cable for my STE. It is a 1990 Grand Prix STE with the 3.1 MPFI, and the 4T60 (non E). I broke mine, and I need to get one.

    Thanks

Thanks. Yeah, it is the cable that goes from the top of the transmission to the throttle body. When Aaron was here, his was broken, so I took mine off of the STE for his car. He was going to pick me up one, but I need to get this car on the road soon, and he will not be back until Feb.

as long as it moves freely and works, I don't care what it looks like.

yes. The only cars in the local yards with it are 3800 cars.
