  • WTB: 3500 Accelerator Pedal

Anyone out there have an electronic accelerator/gas pedal from a 3500 car? Maybe someone switched to cable driven and doesn't need the pedal? Know of any parted out cars?

I tried looking through there but didn't see a category for "gas/accelerator pedal". I did find one on ebay however that was from a 04 new style malibu with the ecotec and adjustable pedals. I called a dealer to see if there were different part numbers for the ecotec and the 3500 malibu accelerator pedal and he told me only one number came up for the 04 malibu. So I went ahead and got it...

I think I'm just stubborn...lol. I feel there are good and bad things about it...I like to tinker though.

If I can't get it to work I think I can just knock out the little plug on the opposite side of the shaft and weld on some linkage from maybe the stock 3.4L camaro TB. I did get your PM, thanks. I had also seen that on another forum. It'll be a back up.
I just like the clean looks of the 3500 throttle body...without all the sensors hanging off of it and stuff.
