  • WTB: 3500 Upper intake

    Just searching for a 04 and smilar years 3500 upper intake. I may need to expand to this to get the full potential out of my engine/cam

    It will defiantly help esp on the top end. Not many cheap on car-part right now.

          that was searching using the boston based region which searches like 7 states
          MA,ME,NH,RI,VT,CT

          I found one ahwile back for like 75 shipped should have bought it but back then i didnt know where i was going with the engine modding seen as how i only had one drivable car at the time

            Yeah I always just find the cheapest on there cause anythings gotta be shipped anyways nothing is close enough for pick up for me. I think I paid $60 for mine originally with shipping it was 80 IIRC.

                Wow, for how much people are selling theirs for I should sell my ported/polished 1 for more .

                I got mine from car-part was 45 before shipping, 65 after. Then spent over 8 hours porting/polishing. That's with unlimited air supply .
                You may or may not know 10 times what i do.
                ASE Master certified. Just means I can take tests. GM ASEP Graduate.
                95' Z26, ported/cammed 3400/3500, OBD2, 282, T3T4. Boxes almost all empty..

                    8 hours! There aren't even runners in it. I dunno what you used but that is a lot of time for one of these manifolds.

                      Haha, yeah. I like to take my time . Was 8 hours with stopping occationally to do some actual work when cars would come in. Stupid tax season = no work in the dealership . I spent most of my time port matching, then awhile getting rid of the lip to make it more funnel shapped, then polishing, then spent a couple hours with a scotch brite wheel on the exterior of it. Bet I spent 10 hours all together after I was done... but that's because im kind of a perfectionist. Used a snap-on 90* die grinder with a carbite bit, then a polishing kit for the ports. Then green buffer wheels and scotch brite pads for the exterior. Prolly spent just an hour getting between the grooves on the top

                      But yeah, if you're still looking, just check out car-parts. Last time I was there i saw some around 60 + shipping so you're looking 80ish.
